Fort Point Arts Community is looking for a volunteer Facility Manager/Technology Assistant to help staff members maintain one of our gallery spaces in Fort Point.

The Assemblage Art Gallery is located at 70a Sleeper Street, adjacent to the Envoy Hotel. The space needs some additional cleaning and disinfecting a couple times a month, and some patching and painting 2 or 3 times a year. There are also supplies that need to be stocked monthly, and technology that needs to be maintained (in working condition).

The technology in the space includes a television, a sound board, a light board, and a projector. The volunteer would be expected to be knowledgeable about the technology in the space, and would act as a point of reference if a staff member or artist was having trouble or needed help.

Overall this position would be 2 to 3 hours a month. You could work out a maintenance schedule that works for you with the gallery supervisor.
