The opportunity is to input data into an excel spreadsheet. The information is from clients' files which need to be converted to a spreadsheet. The individual will be responsible for the accurate entry of data through the file conversion. The project involves seven years of input. The output supports the organization's impact on the community, the number of cases, type of cases, volunteer time to mediate cases and the number of people connected to the dispute. Estimate project time depends on the number of hours committed and the typing speed of the person inputting the data. It is not a timed project. We will start with the newest cases and work through each year of support.

Description
The Midlands Mediation Center has connections with the community since 1998, the Midlands Mediation Center (formerly the Community Mediation Center) has provided affordable mediation, facilitation, training and dialogue services to Midlands’ residents. It was the first community-based mediation center of its kind in the state and remains the only one in central South Carolina. The center was founded as a result of an extensive grassroots effort by neighborhood associations, community groups, and attorney organizations seeking better ways to address conflicts in our community.
The organization supports schools, the courts, local businesses, neighborhoods and nonprofit organizations. For 24 years, the Midlands Mediation Center has consistently followed its mission of helping individuals and organizations to resolve conflicts, improve relationships, and strengthen communities by offering direct mediation services and facilitating a variety of conflict resolution trainings.
