We are looking for volunteers who can commit to helping in our warehouse on a reoccurring weekly basis. Order picking is when we take product from our warehouse and assemble it to be collected by our agency partners, such as food pantries. At Feeding America West Michigan order picking involves working in our freezer, lifting boxes upwards of 50 lbs, and fast-paced detailed work.

Feeding America West Michigan exists to gather and distribute food to relieve hunger and increase food security in West Michigan and the Upper Peninsula.
Description
Feeding America West Michigan is at the center of a united community effort driven by the core beliefs that hunger is unacceptable and meals can change lives. Feeding America West Michigan is 1 of 200 food banks in the national network. The food bank sources, processes and temporarily stores large quantities of various foods. Then, this food is distributed, via partners such as food pantries, to neighbors in need.
