Menzies Philanthropic Foundation is in it's non-profit startup stage and is looking for volunteers to help keep our website and IT department going and up to date.
Reporting to the Founder with a primary focus on supporting the Menzies Philanthropic Foundation (MPF) digital strategy, execution of the IT infrastructure, and business systems technologies.
You will help in managing every aspect of Menzies' computer and information systems. Their duties include evaluating IT projects, working alongside the technology development team, and developing and implementing new technology.
The WordPress Developer is needed to maintain and occasionally update the digital content on external-facing websites. Leverage Elementor templates on WordPress sites and load content.
- WordPress Developer Duties & Responsibilities
- Organize and manage web development
- Making site updates, structural and aesthetic
- Verifying usability and optimization for sites, landing pages, and forms
- Optimizing SEO
- Ensure high-performance and availability, and manage all technical aspects of the CMS
- Custom WP themes when absolutely required (most work is done using Elementor)
- Assist with making our WordPress site integrate with Social Media to maximize automation.
- Update Plugins and WordPress versions to protect the security of the site.

Menzies Philanthropic Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on supporting the orphanages globally, based on the Shirley Menzies 5 Key Needs, designed to create the first eco-regenerative conscious community to heal trauma and provide safe homes for orphans and vulnerable families.
The organization is in is operating at the start-up level, currently working to provide a powerful regenerative, self-sustaining business model facilitated by its 'For Profit’, Social Impact Enterprise, and "Me Is We".
Through the development of residual-producing income streams, the "Me Is We" enterprise will supplement and eventually finance the Menzies Philanthropic Foundation’s ultimate goal of creating eco-regenerative conscious communities for wholistic assistance and development.
