Shriners Children's Portland Clinical Research Department is looking for student volunteers to participate as interventionists in an intense therapy camp for children with Cerebral Palsy (CP). The camp is 15 weeks on Saturdays from September 10, 2022 - December 17, 2022 from 8:30am - 4:00pm. There will be a 4 hour training for this camp. As as interventionist, you will work directly with children on upper and lower extremity activities through playing in a fun camp setting. The activities vary depending on the goals of each individual child, and you will receive guidance and support from our Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapist. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Susan Sienko, PhD at ssienko@shrinenet.org or call 503-221-3481.
