You can make a difference today

The Eating Disorder Foundation is seeking licensed clinicians in any state to join our team of volunteer facilitators. Involvement includes leading non-clinical, peer support groups for individuals and families who struggle with eating disorders, disordered eating and body image concerns. If you are interested in joining our team, please submit the information below to Dani Gilady at DGilady@eatingdisorderfoundation.org

Our current support group schedule can be found here. Most groups are virtual, taking place via Zoom, but can also be in person (Denver).

Required qualifications to become an EDF Facilitator

  • Requested commitment for three months or more (flexible scheduling)
  • Minimum of a master’s degree in a clinical program (license STRONGLY preferred)
  • Knowledge and understanding of eating disorders & disordered eating (expertise is not required)
  • Thorough understanding of group dynamics and group process
  • Exceptional at setting therapeutic and personal boundaries
  • One orientation and one group observation prior to facilitating
