It's another one of our popular 'I Recycle PHX' events and we need YOU to help!!
This is a drive-through where residents can drop off items to be recycled, repurposed, and donated.....everything from electronics to bicycles to household items to document shredding.
Volunteers will help with traffic flow; we’ll have yellow safety vests for everyone. Volunteers will help with unloading items from vehicles that have been brought to drop-off Volunteers will also help at the various recycling stations. What to Wear: It is recommended for volunteers to dress in comfortable clothes and shoes, wear a hat and sunscreen. We will have coffee, donuts, bottled water and snacks to keep everyone hydrated and energized! Schedule: 6:30 am to 9:00 am (Event Set-up and Event Volunteer)
8:30 am to 10:30 am (Event Volunteer)
10:00 am to 12:00 pm (Event Volunteer)
10:30 am to 12:30 pm (Event Volunteer and Event Tear Down)
Please let us know which shift or shifts you would like to work!
Location: Happy Valley Towne Center - 2501 West Happy Valley Road - in the parking lot of the center on the far west side in front of Mega Furniture and Mountain Side Fitness.
