Help needed on Wednesday and Friday mornings at Central Citrus Community Center

The Central Citrus Community Center is looking for help Wednesday and Friday mornings with unloading and loading meals for Meals on Wheels drivers.
Hours of need on each day are 8:30 am - 11:00 am, and the Center is located at 2804 W. Marc Knighton Court, Lecanto.
The job would include assisting staff with unloading boxes of frozen meals (approximately 5-7 lbs. each) from the delivery truck, loading those boxes into drivers' cars, and loading extras on a cart. In addition, help is needed to assist staff in packing coolers with cold food items, packing hot meals into coolers for the drivers to deliver, and assist the drivers with loading the coolers into their cars.
Occasionally, if the Center is closed on a Monday, there will be a delivery of frozen meals on the previous Friday, but notice will be given in advance.

Nature Coast Volunteer Center recruits and recognizes volunteers of all ages on behalf of over 100 organizations. Volunteers age 55 and better who are registered with the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) are provided at no cost with supplemental automobile, liability and injury insurance coverage while volunteering, plus partial mileage reimbursement, if eligible.
