As a Meals on Wheels Volunteer, you will belong to a team committed to helping older adults who are homebound maintain their health and independence with nutritious food, personal contact, and caring service.
A volunteer caller is needed to help call Burien Meals on Wheels participants for their weekly order on Wednesday mornings, 9 am - 11 am. We’re looking for someone available long-term and training will be provided.

Sound Generations, established in 1967, is Washington State's most comprehensive non-profit organization that supports people on their aging journey through community connections and accessible services. Established in 1967, we support almost 54,000 older adults, disabled persons, and those who care for them annually in King County.
Description
Our eleven programs operating throughout numerous community and senior center sites are constantly striving to expand the provision of food security, transportation, health & wellness, and assistance services to under served and marginalized populations. We are committed to helping all people, especially those in low-income communities and communities of color, obtain the services they need while feeling included and respected in a community that affirms aging.
