Help Parks staff in keeping Laurel Hills Park clean and beautiful at this litter cleanup. Volunteers will target hot spots around the park and dispose of trash in nearby dumpsters/bins.
Volunteers will help remove litter from Laurel Hills Park with trash bags and pickup sticks. Cleanup supplies will be provided.
Improperly discarded trash, and litter, is a serious environmental hazard. It pollutes the water we use and depend on, it has the potential to cause injury to wildlife, and it is simply an eyesore. By removing litter, we can help provide a healthier environment for wildlife and citizens to enjoy.
Volunteers will be working outdoors on uneven terrain. There will be restrooms on site.
