FiftyForward's Friends Learning in Pairs (FLIP) tutoring program is seeking volunteers age 55+ to tutor students at Glencliff Elementary School.

As part of the AmeriCorps Seniors family of programs, FLIP matches older adult volunteers with elementary school students for thirty-minute, one-on-one reading instruction or math skill development. Volunteers are assigned three to four students to tutor and meet with them weekly.

Prior to service, volunteers must complete an in-person interview, a background check, and take part in an initial training session. Materials and ongoing support will be provided by FLIP.
