We are looking for patient care volunteers to provide companionship and emotional support for our hospice patients at end of life. No hands on care required. Comprehensive training is provided. We ask for a one year commitment (4 hours per month). We serve the greater Phoenix area. Volunteer near your home, school or work. Days and hours are very flexible.

Description
At Valiant Hospice we are fortunate to have a robust volunteer program. We provide companionship, emotional and spiritual support to our patients and families. We are a Level 4 in the We Honor Veterans Program. Because we have a special appreciation for our veteran patients, we provide them with veteran volunteers. Our agency is always active in supporting our communities.

- Orientation or Training
- Initial training and orientation - a total of 10 hours. Once training is complete, we ask for a commitment of one hour per week to visit with hospice patients.
- TB test to be administered by Valiant Hospice free of charge.
