ORGANIZATION: OXFORD AREA NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICES CENTER INC

This position will assist the Executive Director in administrative tasks related to managing the organization. This position is ideal for someone who is interested in furthering their education and experience in the world of non-profit operations and management. It will provide exposure to various aspects of non-profit operations with the goal of optimizing our mission. In addition, experience will be gained in donor database software application and coding non-profit finances.

Duties and Responsibilities may include:

  • Coding financial records
  • Generating thank-you letters to donors
  • Managing donor database
  • Taking board meeting minutes
  • Filing
  • Opening mail
  • Making copies

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Willingness to learn our existing systems and operate within them
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Ability to maintain professional communication both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Interest in non-profit mission or non-profit management
