Share Your Musical Skills with Our Seniors

Do you play guitar or piano and enjoy a good sing-along? We are looking for a volunteer to lead sing-along sessions at our senior apartments. Days and times are flexible; we can work with your schedule.

If you are comfortable leading a group and familiar with music that adults age 80+ would enjoy (1930’s - 1970’s are favorite eras), reach out today. You will make new friends and brighten everyone’s day.

Please contact Melanie at mjagolino@lyngblomsten.org for more information. Our volunteer onboarding process includes an online application and Dept of Human Services background study. We can walk you through this when you are ready. For the health and safety of our residents, we request that volunteers are up-to-date with their COVID vaccines and wear a mask inside our facility.

Description

Lyngblomsten provides compassionate care to older adults through residential and community services. Volunteers of all ages are welcomed to explore over 100 unique and varied opportunities. While short-term options may be available periodically, we encourage longer-term commitments given the exceptional level of orientation, training and on-going education Lyngblomsten provides in support of its volunteers.
