Volunteer with us to support Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor's largest fundraiser, the D&L Heritage Half Marathon! We are expecting a total of about 1,000 runners and walkers to participate and need your help to make the event run smoothly! The Half Marathon will take place on Sunday, November 6th along 13.1 miles of the gorgeous D&L Trail in Carbon, Northampton, and Lehigh counties. We need volunteers to help on the day of the marathon and leading up to it.

The half marathon is possible thanks to the generosity, kindness, and enthusiasm of dozens of volunteers who staff water stops, the start and finish areas, and many places in between. They serve water and food, direct participants at road intersections and crossings, and cheer the participants throughout the course.

Many runners and walkers have said that the D&L Half volunteers are fabulous, and we wholeheartedly agree. In addition to the satisfaction of supporting the D&L and the thanks of the participants, volunteers receive a commemorative T-shirt, a delicious lunch on race day, and the opportunity to make the event memorable for everyone involved. It's also a lot of fun and a great way to meet people in the community!
