Bridge Hospice is looking for individuals with a gift of playing instruments and singing who would be interested in serving our hospice patients. Our patients who live in Board & Care facilies, Assisted Living facilies or Skilled Living facilies do not always get many visitors and would benefit greatly by having volunteers come in to see them. Music uplifts the soul and would truly brighten their day.

Mission Statement
Bridge Home Health & Hospice is looking for volunteers dedicated and compassionate about making a difference by providing companionship to our terminally ill patients. Bridge volunteers conduct friendly visits with patients and help them in their daily lives by conducting social visits, reading aloud, playing musical instruments, playing cards/games, caregiver relief, veteran to veteran companionship, etc. Volunteers can also provide compassionate remote services such as phone calls, letter writing, sending cards, etc. Volunteer visits and phone calls make a huge impact and truly enrich the lives of our patients and their loved ones. Bridge provides all training needed to be an effective volunteer by outlining our basic policies and procedures during our onboarding process. You can be sure that once you go on your first visit, you will be prepared. Requirements Include: A clean record, TB test, a great attitude and desire to make a difference!

- Bridge requires all applicants to commit to a least two hours of volunteer time a month. Volunteers are able to make their own schedule.
- Bridge require all applicants to submit to a background check, drug screen and two step TB testing. We also require proof of auto insurance and social security card. All applicants will also need to complete our online application.
