The South Coast Botanic Garden is opening their very first Spider Pavilion experience, and we are looking for Spider Pavilion Guides to assist with informal education and pavilion operations. This is a great opportunity to become more comfortable with our harmless native spiders and teach people about their importance in our ecosystem. The pavilion is open 7 days a week from October 1st to November 30th with three shift options a day: 9:00am-12:00pm, 11:30am-2:30pm, 2:00pm-5:00pm. Additional training is required before signing up. Description

Our active volunteers play a large role in the ongoing success at South Coast Botanic Garden. As a volunteer, you represent our institution and forward our mission by connecting all to the wonders of nature. Through outreach and horticulture, you help create wonderful experiences for our visitors that inspire stewardship and sustainability. Per Los Angeles County guidelines, all volunteers must be at least 15 years old to participate. We require that all volunteers provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination before joining our program. We are not currently accepting any vaccination exemptions. If you are interested in volunteering with us, please follow the steps below:
