Recruiting Organization: Homes With Heart Foundation

The nonprofit, Homes With Heart Foundation, is in the start-up stage and is looking to expand its board. Homes With Heart makes shared housing available to people in recovery or people experiencing housing insecurity. The homes will be certified sober living homes and could house people from varied backgrounds including those transitioning to society from prison, in recovery from addiction, escaping domestic violence, homeless veterans and other situations. By providing housing solutions, the residents are able to focus on employment, recovery, education and building their lives so that they can better their current situation.

Homes With Heart Foundation is based out of Aurora, Colorado and is looking to serve the Denver metro area initially with the possibility of expanding to other locations once more established.

We are looking to expand our board by 1-3 people and would like members to have experience in at least one of the following areas: 1) addiction and recovery 2) law enforcement, probation or parole 3) social work 4) housing placement for people in need. Adding people with this experience will be very valuable for the ability of Homes With Heart Foundation to serve our residents fully.
