Nonprofit staff are usually passionate about their causes and 'staff' may include both paid employees and volunteers. We are seeking an HR professional to:
- Make recommendations on how to attract and retain talented employees with a competitive plan that includes attractive health and retirement benefits.
- To review the Employee Handbook for a local nonprofit. This will help the nonprofit improve transparency and accountability with clarified rights, policies, and other expectations in an employee handbook.
Jericho Road Pasadena recruits skilled volunteers and places them in defined, capacity-building projects at Pasadena-area nonprofits. We are currently working with a small nonprofit that would like to grow and needs better work flows and clearer roles to grow. If you have experience in HR and can volunteer to help this organization, we can use your skills!

Since 2010, we have connected volunteer experts with nonprofits that offer critical services to underserved residents in their communities. By meeting the internal needs of these nonprofits free of charge - from strategic planning to marketing and IT - nonprofit staff can focus on stronger delivery of services, thereby building better communities. JRP follows a seven-step match-making and project management process that defines clear outcomes for the nonprofit and matches the right volunteer to the nonprofit’s need. Projects range from one-time consultations to year-long projects, and might be executed by one volunteer or a team.
