Recovery / Foster Home
ORGANIZATION: CAT CONNECTION
Please visit the new page to apply.
The Cat Connection is a non-profit cat rescue organization that needs foster and recovery homes for the cats that it rescues. A foster home is a loving environment where a cat can come out of its shell while it waits for a forever home. A recovery home is a place where a cat comes in right after being trapped in order to have its behavior assessed and to recover from spay/neuter surgery. The requirements for a foster/recovery home include having the ability to isolate a foster cat in a separate room that is sparsely furnished. Recovery homes will need to be able to have trapping and transport volunteers pick up and drop off cats at their home. We will provide training and advice on how to set up the sanctuary room and how to socialize the cat.
If you are interested in being a foster/recovery home for TCC, please fill out a volunteer application at thecatconnection.org
