At Lake Humane Society, we make every attempt to make the animal's stay with us as pleasant as possible. A huge part of doing that is making sure that their temporary home is clean and comfortable. Our volunteers are essential in making sure that the animal's dishes and bedding are clean and comfy!
Housing 37 dogs and over 100 cats, you can imagine how fast dishes and laundry pile up! Our Daily Maintenance crew is essential in making sure everything stays under control!

Lake Humane Society focuses on rescuing and finding homes for the homeless animals in Lake County. We also strive to fight animal cruelty and neglect while promoting humane treatment and responsible pet ownership for all pets.
