Job Description
Overview
Faith Haven House Night Monitors are the primary staff at Faith Haven House- a transitional living program for homeless men. They monitor the guests and the property, maintaining safety at all times. They are responsible for the initial intake of new guests and the ongoing supervision of all guests. Night Monitors provide staff presence. The Night Monitor will live at Faith Haven House free of charge and will be provided all meals. The hours expected to be onsite are 9 pm to 7 am. Night Monitors are expected to perform their duties with professionalism and integrity in order to create and maintain a welcoming and safe environment at Faith Haven House. Monitors report directly to the Executive Director and when necessary, the Board of Directors.
Essential Duties
- Maintain the safety and security of the guests and the property
- Complete the intake of new guests
- Supervise all guests
- Monitor the guests insuring they comply with all rules and policies
Expectations
- Perform all duties with professionalism
- Treat all guests with respect upholding Faith Haven House values of hospitality, equality and fairness
- Communicate regularly with the Executive Director
Qualifications
- High school diploma or its equivalency
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to keep boundaries
- Ability to lead and instruct
- Willingness to listen and to empathize

Mission Statement
Faith Haven House will be a place where the residents can start the rebuilding process. We will be working with homeless men or those in danger of homelessness with the goal to help them transition to a stable living environment. Throughout the transition, they will receive a network of support with available resources.
Description
Faith Haven House is a transitional living program for homeless men in St. Charles County. We are the first and only place for a man to go while he works to get back on his own feet. We closed on our building in February 2022, are currently working on rehab, and hope to start moving guys in starting in October.
Faith Haven House's primary focus is on housing, food, and clothing and will work with other organizations in St. Charles County as needed to help the men transition.
