Companionship volunteers are a very important part of the care and service that our patients and families receive. Companionship volunteers can help in many ways. Volunteers can visit with patients while allowing caregivers to take a much needed break. The role of a caregiver can be very exhausting when caring for a loved one. Your role as a volunteer is very important. Volunteers visit with patients and provide a listening ear when needed. If you are caring, compassionate and would like to make a difference in someone else’s life we would love to speak with you.

Companionship volunteers visit with patients who are in facilities and in the home. Our staff will work with you to identify families who could benefit most.

Although Kindred is based out of Flint, MI, we have patient's all over Shiawassee County that would love companionship visits.

(At this time, all volunteers are required to be vaccinated)
