Recruiting Organization: The Learners Lab Foundation (TLLF)
National Chamber of Tax-Exempt Small Businesses, (NCTSB), is one of several new entities established by The Learners Lab Foundation as it transitions from Fiscal Sponsorship charity to a fully operations Economic Development Enterprise for 501c entities. The Foundation is conducting a search for the Chambers first Leader, a role which begins as Interim and operates alongside its sister entity, the Association of Tax-Exempt Startups & Entrepreneurs.
Where ATESE is a National Networking Membership for new 501c Founders, NCTSB is a National Chamber Membership the 501c Small Businesses as a whole, it is open to ALL Staff of small tax exempt entities. We promote 501cs from incubator past IRS approval, create small biz2biz events and encourage their recognition as 501c Small Business entities.
The Foundation does not recognize the standards or benchmarks established by the US Small Business Administration because those standards are not representative of what a true small business is -- a business with few staff who does NOT generate millions of billions in revenue regardless of industry. As well, ALL 501cs begin as small businesses because they must be legally registered For Profit Business Entities before they can pursue tax exempt status. As such, All 501cs from the incubator stage, thru start-up, entrepreneurial to post IRS approval and regular operations are treated and recognized as small business entities because thats what they are.
NCTSB has been established as a dedicated voice and resource for Tax Exempt Small Businesses and will operate along side ATESE in the shared goal of working to assure there is fair representation and equal access to merchant & finance resources and other business assets on par with that of for profit startups and small businesses.
As The Chamber was just formed, it is being Fiscally Sponsored by The Learners Lab Foundation. As with other Enterprise Organizations, both The Chamber Leadership and its Stakeholders will hold a shared seat on the Board. This is by design to assure Equitable Representative is built into operations of the Enterprise and assure all Perspectives Are Conveyed.
