Dirty Little Paws Rescue

Dirty Little Paws rescue is looking for volunteers to join our Foster Program as Foster Parents for cats and kittens.

What is a Foster Parent?

  • An animal lover who generously volunteers to open their home to pets until these pets are ready for adoption.
  • Pets need fostering until they can be made available for adoption, here are some of the reasons we might send them to a foster home.
    • Too young. Kittens need to be at least 8 weeks old to be adopted.
    • Not yet up to date on vaccines.
    • Waiting to be spayed or neutered.
    • Pregnant or nursing moms with babies.
    • Undergoing medical treatment or recovering from a procedure.
  • Foster homes provide a soft place to land for animals coming into our care and can help ease their transition into their forever home with socialization and love.
Ultimately, our foster families enable us to save more lives and help more animals in need.

Please feel free to text or call (404) 550-6774 if you are interested or have any questions.

About DIRTY LITTLE PAWS RESCUE

Location:

3808 VISTA CAMPANA S UNIT 36, OCEANSIDE, CA 92057, US

Mission Statement

Our mission is three-fold: •For the animal we rescue...we strive to , take out of harm's way if we can, improve quality of life, and alleviate possible suffering; •For the human (adopter or person being assisted)... we strive to educate or inform potential owners of the harm that loose animals face, the proper care of pets and the importance of ownership. And most importantly, the love and nurturing that can be shared between pet and owner. •For the community as a whole , and thus for the world...we educate and promote the human-animal bond that can only enrich this world. In the local communities, we also help to decrease shelter euthanasia, which lowers shelter spending in that area, leaving more money available for other important programs and services, which benefits both animals and the community as a whole.

Description

  • We are a small 501c3 no kill cat rescue organization that fosters and provides adoption services to cats rescued from kill shelters and from the streets. We manage feral colonies, promote TNR, provide spay/neuter services and more.
