San Lorenzo Family Help Center is looking for drivers to pick up food from local stores. Drivers will load, transport and unload donations at the food pantry for distribution to low income families. Most pick ups take two hours or less. Volunteers with trucks, vans or an SUV may use their own vehicle. Drivers experienced driving high profile long wheel base vans may use our company vehicle as appropriate. We are constantly in the fight to eliminate hunger and help our low income communities by providing food.

Requirements:

Driver License & good driving record

Mask and Vaccination required

Close toe shoes

Over age 25

Must be able to lift 40 lbs


Pick up days & hours: Tue, Thurs & Fri (8:30 AM - 12 PM)

San Lorenzo Family Help Center offers a free food pantry for Alameda County residents who are income eligible, experiencing homelessness, or have medical needs. We are your local Food Pantry, here to serve the San Lorenzo community which includes Cherryland, Ashland, Hayward Acres and San Lorenzo . All Alameda county residents with food insecurity are qualified to receive food pantry items twice a month.
