A flight from Orlando preparing for descent, Airbus 22 was having electrical issues and could not get the landing gear dropped. A call was made to the Control Tower that a "belly landing" would have to occur. All emergency personnel were dispatched and the hospital prepared for a surge.
H ere it is!! Your opportunity to bring out your inner actor/actress!! We are looking for volunteers to be victims of this plane crash for an exercise. You may or may not be transported to the hospital in an ambulance. You may or may not have serious/life-threatening injuries. Children under the age of 18 are welcome WITH a parent.

Daviess County Emergency Management Agency (DCEMA), is the unit of Daviess County, Kentucky government with the lead role in preparing for and responding to natural and man-made threats, emergencies and disasters.
Description
The Daviess County Emergency Management Agency (DCEMA) is the unit of local government responsible for the coordination of mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery efforts pertaining to major emergencies or disasters arising from natural or man-made causes. This is in accordance with State Statutes and Federal Laws. We provide a number of services important to community awareness and preparedness.
Preparations include the use of exercises (training) for disasters. While some of these are in a discussion format, there are those that require people to play the parts of victims. This gives the first responders and emergency facilities the opportunity to practice their readiness in the event of an actual emergency or disaster.
