Looking to volunteer? Help us maintain Calero County Park and Reservoir! Volunteers will use non-powered tools to pull weeds/ cut and pile Coyote Brush between the Calero Reservoir Parking Lot and shoreline. It can be hard work, but very rewarding to help keep the Park we all use safe and clear. Bring sturdy gloves, closed toe shoes (boots if possible), and your can-do attitudes! Prepare for the weather by wearing sunscreen, light moisture wicking clothing and a hat.

Vaccination verification will not be required for volunteer events that are outside and one-time or short-term in nature. If you wish to apply as a Long Term volunteer (18 and older), or volunteer working indoors, you will be required to show proof of vaccination and all boosters for which you are eligible. Regardless of your vaccination status, do not attend a volunteer event if you are not feeling well or have been exposed to COVID-19. Click here for Santa Clara County's COVID-19 Guidelines. Description

Since 1924, when Stevens Creek County Park was established, people have given their time and talents to help make Santa Clara County Parks special places to visit. In 2010, nearly 2000 volunteers donated over 40,000 hours of service to a variety of projects and programs.

Become a County Parks Volunteer and see how you can play an important role in protecting and enhancing our parklands. What's more, our volunteer events are fun -- come join us to "Go Outside and Play!"
