Help us welcome visitors for a family friendly day of activities, games, and wildlife connected with Coyote Creek, where they can learn about the people and animals who have made their homes along this waterway - both a long time ago and today.
We are looking for volunteers to:
-Help lead an owl pellet dissecting station
-Assist with parking (must be 18 or older)
-Assist with family-friendly activity stations
-Provide extra guidance on hikes
-Take turns with other volunteers at various spots to facilitate breaks
Please bring water, a hat, sunscreen, and layers. Check in at the Parks welcome table. Lunch will be provided.
Vaccination verification will not be required for volunteer events that are outside and one-time or short-term in nature. If you wish to apply as a Long Term volunteer (18 and older), or volunteer working indoors, you will be required to show proof of vaccination and all boosters for which you are eligible. Regardless of your vaccination status, do not attend a volunteer event if you are not feeling well or have been exposed to COVID-19. Click here for Santa Clara County's COVID-19 Guidelines. Description
Since 1924, when Stevens Creek County Park was established, people have given their time and talents to help make Santa Clara County Parks special places to visit. In 2010, nearly 2000 volunteers donated over 40,000 hours of service to a variety of projects and programs.
