Enthusiastic Volunteers needed at Corks, Forks, Rhythm & Brews in its event to raise funds for the Alameda Boys & Girls Club! Whether you're an army of one or many, we want you to be a part of the fun too! We are looking for volunteers who are enthusiastic, fun-loving individuals who want to give back while having fun. Experience the event first-hand and make friends with other volunteers all while supporting a great cause! Volunteers working on Saturday, October 1st after 11:00 AM must be 21+. *Saturday, October 1, 2022: Event Day duties include event set up, exhibitor, volunteer and entertainment relations, traffic control, VIP tent support, attendee registration and event load out.

**All volunteers who complete a minimum 4-hour shift prior to 12:00 PM will receive access to the event. If you are volunteering during the event hours of 12:00-4:00 PM, you will receive a Designated Driver wristband and will be prohibited from drinking at the event during your shift.

Event Set-Up
Volunteers will assist with set up of the event on the day before the event begins. Duties include, but are not limited to: exhibitor and sponsor load-in; exhibitor and sponsor display set up; signage distribution; parking monitor; set up of event supply areas, such as attendee registration, exhibitor check-in, volunteer check-in. As this is an all day shift, lunch will be included. We recommend that you bring sunscreen, water, and wear closed toe shoes.

Volunteer Check-In
Volunteers will be stationed within the Volunteer Check-In tent, with duties including; but not limited to: set up of Volunteer Check-In station; check-in and check-out of morning shift volunteers; distribution of corresponding volunteer credentialing; providing shift location and lead names.

Exhibitor Check-In
Volunteers will be stationed within the Exhibitor Check In/Registration tent, with duties including, but not limited to: set up of Exhibitor Check-In station; check-in of all early arrival exhibitors and sponsors; distribution of corresponding exhibitor and sponsor badges; providing direction on load-in area; tear down of Exhibitor Check-In station.

Exhibitor Load-In
Assistance with exhibitor and sponsor load-in of their booth space items; then transportation to their booth space. Duties include; but are not limited to: unloading of vehicles; transportation of exhibitor/sponsor booth space items to appropriate booth space.

Traffic & Parking Directors
Assistance with traffic flow in and out of the load-in area. This is a narrow street and, with a number of exhibitors coming in, control of traffic is extremely important. Volunteer duties include but are not limited to: holding traffic until space has cleared for more vehicles to enter; allowing vehicles and pedestrians through to load-in area.

Exhibitor Support - Supplies
Provision of exhibitor supplies upon arrival to Corks, Forks, Rhythm & Brews. Duties include but are not limited to: handing out supplies (napkins, plates, glassware, utensils, etc.) to exhibitors; taking supplies to exhibitor booth space; direct interaction with exhibitor's onsite team, water and ice runs for participating exhibitors and sponsors; transportation of water and/or ice from staging area to exhibitor and sponsor booth spaces; monitoring of water and ice supply level.

VIP Tent Set-Up & Support
Assistance with final preparation of VIP Tent. Volunteer duties include but are not limited to: set up of tables, chairs, linens, center pieces; assisting exhibitors within VIP Tent in set up of booth space.

Attendee Registration Set-Up
Set up of Attendee Registration area. Duties include; but are not limited to: set up of tables, linens, and supplies; unwrapping and displaying glassware, plates, and collateral.

Attendee Registration & Support
Assistance with final set up of Attendee Registration area, then wristbanding and scanning of event attendee tickets for entry into Corks, Forks, Rhythm & Brews. Duties include but are not limited to: set up of tables, linens, and supplies; unwrapping and displaying glassware, plates, and collateral; wristbanding and credentialing for appropriate entry level (VIP, Designated Driver, General Admission); providing a positive first impression to event attendees.

VIP Tent Support
Assistance with final preparation of VIP Tent before event opens, then monitoring tent during event itself. Volunteer duties include but are not limited to: set up of tables, chairs, linens, center pieces; assisting exhibitors within VIP Tent in set up of booth space; monitoring entry for correct credentialing; assisting VIP Tent sponsors with booth space; monitoring reserved areas and checking of credentialing for approved entrance into reserved space (if applicable)

Exhibitor Load-Out + Clean-Up
All exhibitors and sponsors will begin load out upon completion of the event. Event Management will begin tear down once most exhibitors/sponsors being their load out. Volunteer duties include but are not limited to: load-out of exhibitor/sponsor supplies and displays; transport of exhibitor/sponsor items to load-out area; assistance with tear down and clean-up of event and lawn.

About Alameda Boys & Girls Club
