Volunteers are essential to MDA’s mission of transforming the lives of people living with muscular dystrophy, ALS, and related neuromuscular diseases. As restrictions are lifted across the country, several fire departments are scheduling traditional in-person Fill the Boot events to raise money for MDA. We are looking for a group of committed volunteers in Philadelphia to assist with supply distribution, counting/organizing money for deposit, and delivering food/water to crews as they are out collecting. Tasks will vary depending upon the market.
After registering at Volunteer and Transform Lives | Muscular Dystrophy Association (mda.org), you’ll work with an MDA staff partner or another volunteer leader on specific needs in your market. We are committed to ensuring that your volunteer experience is a rewarding one, while helping to fuel MDA’s mission.
