Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, is a 128-year-old settlement house widely recognized as one of New York's premier human services providers. Founded in 1894 as a free kindergarten for immigrant children, the Neighborhood House now serves 16,000 people in need each year through a wide array of effective and integrated services--social, educational, legal, health, housing, mental health, nutritional and fitness.
We are seeking volunteers to assist our Food Services staff in serving healthy and delicious to seniors at our Older Adult Center.
Volunteers are needed for lunch service, 11am-12:30pm, weekdays.

Description
Lenox Hill Neighborhood House was founded in 1894 by the Alumnae Association of Normal College (now known as Hunter College of the City University of New York) as a free kindergarten for the children of indigent immigrants. Since then, we have remained at the forefront of community advocacy and social and educational change.
