The Komen Greater NYC Race for the Cure is made possible by an amazing team of volunteers who help make this event a success. Our event day volunteers are individuals who are passionate about the fight against breast cancer and want to lend a hand on September 7 to make the Race for the Cure run smoothly from start to finish. There are many ways to get involved at this year’s Race and ensuring it’s a day to remember!

Ways to Get Involved on Event Day:

  • Check-in and register participants
  • Commemorative Race for the Cure t-shirt distribution
  • Man various event tents: Hope Village, VIP, Pillars, Kid Zone, Partner Pavilion, etc.
  • Assist out on the route with water and encouragement/cheering
  • Finish line medal distribution
  • Capture photos and videos
  • Set up and/or tear down before and after the event
