Join SOAR365 For a Fall Family Workday!

ORGANIZATION: SOAR 365

SOAR365 invites families with kids ages 12 and older to join us for a Fall Family Work Dayon Saturday October 8from 10-1. Volunteers will be helping to spruce up the grounds of PARK365 in advance of our fall fundraiser. Activities include general weeding & landscaping, cleaning flower beds, planting, spreading mulch, trimming bushes, staining ramps, and other needed tasks.

About PARK365: For the second year in a row, PARK365 has been awarded Third Place in the Best Playground category for central Virginia by The Best of Virginia, a publication of Virginia Living. This award exemplifies our commitment to the community and our program participants and their families, as we strive to provide enriching experiences each and every day. Description

In partnership with families, SOAR365 creates life-fulfilling opportunities for individuals with disabilities, annually serving over 1,400 people and their families. Founded in 1954, SOAR365 is an organization created by families, for families; an organization that has grown to provide a continuum of programs and services for individuals with disabilities across the lifespan.

With multiple locations throughout central Virginia, SOAR365 programs span the lifecycle and assist people with disabilities to live happy, successful and meaningful lives. Programs and services include: Pediatric Therapy Services; Adult & Youth Day Services; Workforce Development Services; and Residential (Summer Camp and Respite) Services.
