Do you enjoy teaching? Are you passionate about caring for the environment? Are you interested in spreading the word about Heritage Conservancy's mission? Come join a dedicated group of volunteers here at Heritage Conservancy who enjoy teaching the community and students in Lower Bucks County about the environment and how to protect it. Description

Based in Doylestown, PA, and serving Bucks and Montgomery counties, Heritage Conservancy is a community-based organization dedicated to the preservation and protection of significant open spaces, natural resources, and our historic heritage. The Conservancy believes that everyone is responsible for stewardship and seeks to enlighten, engage, and empower others to help achieve this mutual vision.

To date, Heritage Conservancy has facilitated the preservation of over 15,000 acres of open space, farmland, wildlife habitat, and important watershed areas in Bucks and Montgomery counties. This preserved land helps to protect water quality and the quality of life for your community. The Conservancy has also had 40 successful nominations to the National Register of Historic Places for historic districts and properties.

  • Educators will be expected to attend at least one training session a year (approximately 2 hours). Each educational field trip is between 3 and 7 hours. Educators can sign up for one or more field trips per month.
