About Us:
Founded in 2010, the mission of Communities United (CU) is to organize and empower low income Marylanders to achieve transformative change on issues of racial, economic and social justice. Our organizing is centered in Baltimore. Our community organizing model hinges on intensive member engagement and leadership development.

We engage and build leadership among those most directly impacted by injustice - racism, poverty, trauma, addiction, criminalization - to build resilient grassroots power among those historically shut out of Baltimore’s economic and political life.

Our organizing principles are:
Every individual has power, and we have more power together.
Organizing is the heart of all we do.
Membership is ownership of our collective work.
We activate communities to take action.
Our members are experts in their lives.

What We Need:
We need a one-time technology consultant.

We have a website and other virtual assets that have been set up over the years by a combination of staff and volunteers.

We need an audit of these resources. What are we using? What do they do? What annual expenses can be cut from our online, technological and digital spending without compromising our mission? Are some paid services duplicated? Are some services linked? Should some be linked that are not?
