Affinity Care Hospice’s mission is to provide the terminally ill patient and their loved ones with the

support and care they require to live their lives comfortably. Our Hospice team

strives to enable the patient and family to maintain dignity and quality of

life. Our goal is to provide physical, emotional, and spiritual comfort.

We strive to empower the patient and family by providing ongoing support for

family and friends for as long as it is needed.

We believe that Hospice care should be available to all persons with an illness for which there is no cure or for persons who elect not to attempt a cure, resulting in a limited life expectancy.

Title/position: Patient Assistance Volunteer

• Pick up groceries/supplies for patients and families and deliver them

• Do light housekeeping, organizing, or yard work for home patients.

Time commitment:

Currently there are not any time commitments.

Qualifications and requirements: Familiarity with end-of-life care

is a plus but not a must. Orientation is approximately 3 hours and can be done

online or in person. You need to have a passion for helping others who just

need someone to listen to them or be there for them. Must preserve

confidentiality of client identity and information. Background Check, TB

Screening as well, which are all paid for by Affinity Care Hospice &

Palliative Care.
