Enchanted Circle Corps (ECC) is looking for individuals to serve as AmeriCorps service members beginning September 26, 2022. ECC members will help increase awareness and usage of services and resources offered by a coalition of local nonprofits dealing with local issues, such as housing insecurity, education, literacy, and conservation. There are three options to serve, beginning:

  • September 26, 2022, and ends August 14, 2023
  • September 26, 2022, and ends May 26, 2023
  • March 20, 2022 and ends August 14, 2023

Positions include full-time, ¾-time, ½-time and ¼-time options. Benefits include a biweekly living stipend, an education award at successful completion of the term, and professional and service related training. Some positions may qualify for healthcare and/or childcare.

Description

DreamTree Project is leading a collaborative AmeriCorps program in the Taos area, which began in September 2020. The Enchanted Circle Corps (ECC) is a partnership among local organizations that provide supportive services.

The goal of this collaboration is to spread the word about a variety of available services and resources for people in Taos County, including at-risk youth shelter and support, agricultural conservation, college preparedness for high school students and adults, as well as other avenues.

There are local partner programs involved in the ECC, including DreamTree Project. DTP will provide oversight to a Program Coordinator who will run the program and coordinate and support the local AmeriCorps Members and their respective Taos Host Sites.
