ORGANIZATION: Quality Life Solutions Incorporated

Image_202208080934

Quality Life Solutions, Inc. has a volunteer opportunity for someone to help straighten out and re-work one of our "project" websites (https://www.NephrostomyLiving.org). Strong familiarity with AWS Lightsail, Bitnami, Woocommerce and Jetpack necessary (or so we think).

Currently, Jetpack seems to be having an identity crisis, repeatedly going into safe mode. Our previous developer retired due to health concerns) also created our landing page into the Theme, so knuckleheads like me can't edit or update information. Once these fixes are accomplished, just minimal website maintenance will be required.

Also interested in advice and technical input to improve our outreach to new patients, and Donation improvement.

We look forward to hearing from you! Thank you.

About Quality Life Solutions Incorporated

Location:

614 Milford Mill Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, US

Mission Statement

Patients who go thru life changing medical procedures are often sent home with outdated and limited "use and care" information and on numerous occasions with little more than technical instructions, limited supplies, and the "hospital setting" version of "How To". Online information can be limited, and professional publications are geared more to institutional settings. Through our endeavors, we will provide practical and experiential, "at home use and information" available thru instruction, discussion, and videography, available to patients as well as practitioners. Welcoming input from end users on their real world insights for comfort living, and a marketplace for needs and supplies. Our pilot project is addressing the deficiencies in the information available to those with Percutaneous Nephrostomy, using this model to expand to other Quality Life Solutions.

Description

New 501(c)3 non profit. Bringing a new approach to healthcare recovery. Developing online educational resources (websites, project specific) geared towards the new patient coming home after a medical intervention. "New Life at home" information, doesn't exist within the medical community. Only the patient that has been "doing it" for years, has the answers the new patients needs to know. Our philosophy is to amass experienced patient information, and make it available to the new patient on simple website, focused on exactly what questions the new patient has regarding his new life.
