A 501(c)(3), The Population Project is trying to list the full name and date of birth of all humans alive. This has never been attempted before.
After collecting hundreds of millions of profiles, we are ready to launch our website. Anyone will be able to look up their name, correct their profile and create records for families and friends.
Hard at word to collect new names and build an amazing website, we feel the need to work with a public relations professional or firm to hone our message and reach a wide audience throughout the world.
Any help will be greatly appreciated and credited on our website.

Mission Statement
The goal of The Population Project is to list the full name and date of birth of all humans alive. Strangely enough, in a time when information has never been so plentiful, we don’t know the name of the 7+ billion people with whom we share this planet. WhyIn a generation or two, most of us will be forgotten. The Population Project will keep a log of who lived when. It will be a resource for historians and genealogists alike.
Description
If you think everybody deserves to be remembered, please consider helping us in our titanic enterprise. We need volunteers in absolutely every part of the world to source large lists of humans (e.g. electoral records, exam results, etc.).
Don’t worry, we’ll give you the tools and the training to perform your mission. Just bring your enthusiasm!
Names can be found in the most unexpected places from sports federations to high school graduations to medical societies. You'll see, tracking lists is fun and insanely addictive.

- Our estimate is 5-10 hours per week but we might be wrong. TBD, based on your constraints.
- We would prefer to work with an established firm or PR professional. However, we're also willing to consider applications from PR students (senior, or grad level please).
