Prince Inc is in need of your support and expertise! We are currently searching for a volunteer Executive Director that will report to the Board of Directors. In collaboration with the Founder, you will help guide our organization forward by overseeing all operational, financial, and technical aspects of the organization. As the Executive Director, you will be co-responsible for the organization’s consistent achievement of its mission, vision, and financial objectives. Depending on your success, this position can turn into a paid opportunity after 90 days.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for planning, organization, and direction of the organization’s operations and programs.
  • Work closely with Founder to increase the overall visibility of the organization.
  • Prepares accurate and timely analyses that capture and communicate fundraising results, variances, and performance trends.
  • Strategic planning and implementation.
  • Coordinates and leads annual budget reviews, monthly and quarterly reviews, and periodic forecast updates with operational and senior management for all locations.
  • Ensures that services and funding relationships are robust enough to meet or exceed strategic goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for the enhancement of Prince Inc’s image by being active and visible in the community and by working closely with other professional, civic and private organizations.
  • Engage in fundraising and developing other streams of revenues.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree.
  • Transparent and high integrity leadership.
  • Two or more years senior nonprofit management experience.
  • Experience and skill in working with a Board of Directors.
  • High level strategic thinking and planning. Ability to envision and convey the organization’s strategic future to the staff, board, volunteers and donors.
  • Ability to effectively communicate the organization’s mission to donors, volunteers and the overall community.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee and collaborate with staff.
  • A history of successfully generating new revenue streams and improving financial results.
  • Active fundraising experience. Excellent donor relations skills and understanding of the funding community.
  • Previous success in establishing relationships with individuals and organizations of influence including funders, partner agencies and volunteers.
  • Solid organizational abilities, including planning, delegating, program development and task facilitation.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budget preparation, analysis, decision making and reporting.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong public speaking ability.
  • Strong work ethic with a high degree of energy.

Prince serves as a nonprofit dedicated to helping middle school and high school aged youth overcome their adverse childhood experiences. We offer opportunities for children to build community with their peers, develop a sense of belonging within their community, rebuild family relationships, offer a positive environment where youth can learn to heal, and help them help others cope. Prince was born in honor of Princeton Morris, who always tried to bring light to his community despite the adversities faced.
