Friendsgiving is a fun dessert and wine auction benefitting the local homeless shelter animals. The event is a fun filled evening with a cash bar, lite bites, a wine pull and more. The volunteers will have fun as well. We need volunteers to be door greeters, help set up the food stations and man them through the evening, help man the auction tables, help with check in and checking out, pick up desserts the day before the event and help set up the room the day before. If you love animals and would like to volunteer we welcome you to join us.
We also need volunteers to put up flyers at local businesses in the community starting about 2 weeks before the event.

FoMCAW is the nonprofit 501c3 fundraising arm that assists the Manatee County Animal Welfare shelter with funds to help with adoptions, medical needs and shelter capital improvements.

- Just a good attitude and willingness to help. Prior food service is helpful for the volunteers manning the food tables. No heavy lifting required. Some standing. Friendly demeanor helpful.
