ORGANIZATION: Keep Soddy-Daisy Beautiful


Keep-Soddy Daisy Beautiful, will be hosting our 2nd annual Fall Festival on October 15th, 2022. We will also be bringing back the Great Pumpkin Chase 5K which was a started in 2013 by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 942 located in Soddy-Daisy, TN. In honor of Breast Care Awareness Month in October, all proceeds from the 5K, after covering costs, will be donated to the MaryEllen Locher Breast Center at CHI Memorial Hospital.

The 5K will start at 8 am on October 15th and the Fall Festival will follow from 10 am to 3 pm. Race will start at 11651 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379.

Fall Festival will be held next-door at the Soddy Municipal Park: 197 Durham St, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379

Come celebrate Fall and community at this one-day festival, where food trucks, kids’ games and lots of vendors come together to create a special event for the family. Live music, family fun, artists and so much more make up this fun day for our community.

Schedule of Events Saturday, October 15th, 2022 (Rain or Shine)
  • 8 AM Great Pumpkin Chase 5K Begins
    • Runners will start the morning off first followed by our walkers
  • 9 AM Trick or Trot Kids Fun Run
    • Kids can run for some fun and prizes in our fun run. Costumes encouraged and welcomed!
  • 9:30 AM 5K Awards & Giveaways
    • Medals for top runners in each category and random giveaways for participants in the 5K
  • 10 AM to 3 PM Fall Festival
    • Join us for a fun day of family fun at the 2nd Annual Soddy-Daisy Fall Festival

Mission Statement

Keep Soddy-Daisy Beautiful is a Community Beautification and Improvement Project (CBAIP). We are a community driven organization whose goal is to help support and improve our community and the surrounding area. Our Goals: ENGAGE: Bring the community together with events and activities like the Soddy-Daisy Farmers Market, Arbor Day celebration and Fall Festival. EDUCATE: Provide opportunities for the community to learn about topics including gardening, recycling, and composting, as well as tree selection, planting and care. PROTECT: Collaborate with community organizations and city government to protect our beautiful waterways and woodlands. Help create and operate a Tree Board for the City. SUPPORT: Fundraise for beautification projects in Soddy-Daisy and the surrounding areas, with a focus on public parks and recreation areas. IMPROVE: Help beautify and improve our community through litter cleanups, and business beautification initiatives like the Mural Project.
