ORGANIZATION: Net Impact Boston

The purpose of this role is to promote Net Impact Boston’s (NIB) events and programs through social media channels. This team member will determine the most effective timelines and strategies in reaching current and new NIB members.

Estimated Time Commitment: 10-12 hours/month

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates content development for social media in coordination with Co-Chairs / Chair, Content Manager, and team members
  • Manages content and promotes events across all social media sites including Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
    • Scheduling posts and links for each, using content and calendar recommendations from other teams
    • Responds to inquiries via social media channels
  • Proposes ways to increase awareness of and registration for NIB events with Marketing Chair(s)
  • Follows procedures according to the Marketing Processes document
  • Attends all Marketing Team meetings
  • Attends monthly Leadership Team meetings when possible

Our members are committed to practicing and promoting the principles of social responsibility throughout the local community and beyond. We also work with Net Impact student chapters at various colleges and universities in the Greater Boston area.
