Volunteer hours can be completed either remotely or on-site at Indy Hunger Network, and scheduling is flexible.
About Community Compass: (www.indyhunger.org/compass)
Community Compass is a project developed in collaboration with the City of Indianapolis and Level Up Development. Community Compass is a free, multi-channel technology tool (available as an app, chat/voice channel, and website) that allows people to quickly find the nearest food pantry, meal site, or other food resources, as well as determine eligibility for federal nutrition programs, including SNAP, WIC, senior meal programs, and summer meals. The app launched in Marion County in February 2020, expanded to all of Indiana in 2021, and we are working to constantly update our information to make sure we are providing the most accurate listings. IHN is seeking volunteers to help verify and update data about organizations that provide food assistance in Indiana.
