This opportunity is with Lotus BH, a premiere treatment center for adolescents located in Winter Springs, Florida. We will be hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, October 13th. This will be an open house event for our residential program for teenagers. Lotus BH is lucky to have Dr. Malissa Barbosa, our medical director who specializes in "Whole-Person Care" and addiction treatment.

In order to promote the event and introduce Lotus BH to the community, we are requesting help with our phone bank operation. We are looking for any volunteers who are passionate about mental health work and the importance of empathetic care for teenagers and families impacted by substance abuse. This is a remote volunteer opportunity. Volunteers will receive a 45-minute training through Zoom. There, they will receive more information on the Lotus mission along with instructions and expectations for the phone bank. We will need volunteers for the next eight weeks to call contacts on the invitation list, tell them about the event and hopefully secure a RSVP from them. Calls will need to be made between 9am-5pm. This is a flexible opportunity for those wanting to serve their community.
