Oxon Cove Park & Oxon Hill Farm and the National Capital Region Invasive Plant Management Team are hosting an invasive plant removal event on Sunday, August 14th. This event is a volunteer effort to help rescue the natural environment from invasive species through the hands-on removal of especially harmful trees, vines, and flowering plants.
During the event, participants will learn how to identify and control several invasive plants that are threatening our natural communities. Help us restore and protect natural areas in our community by removing invasive plants!
Meet at the Oxon Cove Park & Oxon Hill Farm Visitors Center located in the farm area at 6411 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, MD 20745. All supplies and instruction will be provided.
