CCCH/ Light Hill is a non-profit 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization. A compassionate comfort care home supporting the terminally ill. Our caring home affirms life, hope and meaning for all who enter: our guests approaching the final stages of life, their families, visitors, staff and volunteers.

Description

Light Hill opened in July 2016 atop a hill, full of natural light, hope and positive energy, our chosen name, LIGHT HILL was most fitting for the mission it was meant to serve. Our Goal is to affirm and support life, hope and meaning for all who enter. We believe it's where families and friends can find light through the trees and hope through the shadows. Our volunteers are the heart of our home, and our greatest need. These remarkable individuals joined our family from different places, various backgrounds and experiences and individual reasons. Together, we have grown into a supportive team, committed corps of volunteers, who carry out day-to-day operations and give hands-on care. They bless this home with caring hearts, compassion and a hospice philosophy to serve our terminal residents, their loved ones and all those who enter our home. Our primary focus is to ensure the richest possible experience for residents and their loved ones as they approach the final stages of life by providing the comfort care that focuses on pain control, symptom management and safety. We also seek to support our resident guests and their families as they adjust to the emotional and spiritual challenges they may experience.Volunteer on-site training is provided, and no medical background is necessary.
