Volunteers are an integral aspect of Choose to DO, Inc. and allow for greater diversity within our organization and support the children we mentor. Virtual Volunteers have short and long term volunteer opportunities where individuals offer their expertise to help the organizations grow.

The Email Marketing Assistant supports the marketing team with all related marketing tasks. Their duties include overseeing all aspects of email marketing campaigns, including market research, content creation.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Distributing emails through the use of automation software.
  • Support the marketing team on projects.
  • Conduct market research and analyze marketing data.
  • Prepare digital marketing campaigns via email.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, deliver and execute successful marketing campaigns via email.
  • Ensure accurate and complete information is captured in customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Build strong relationships with our target audience.

Guidelines for Volunteers

  • Volunteers are 18 years old or older. Younger than 18 must have parent/legal guardian consent
  • No smoking onsite while volunteering with Choose to DO, Inc.
  • Listen to the supervisor for instruction and don’t be afraid to ask questions.
  • Volunteering with Choose to DO, Inc. is fun, so have a good time!

Time Commitment

  • 10+ hours a week
  • 6 month term
  • Term 1: January 10th - June 13th
  • Term 2: June 13th - December 17th

What We do?

  • In 2017, Choose to DO, Inc. started an initiative to tackle low self-esteem in boys and girls 9 - 19 years old.
  • Breaking the Cycle is a program made up of 5 classes, that promote self-love and leadership among girls and boys 9 - 19 years old.
  • In 2020, Choose to DO, Inc. started online classes to provide at home instructions, as an extension of our initiative to tackle low self-esteem in young adults 9 - 19 years old.
