- Assists kitchen staff with any food prep, trash disposal and other assistance as required over the course of the shift.
- Serves a meal to our unsheltered friends (4:15 pm - 5:15 pm - approx. 60 people) Entree, vegetable, starch, salad, bread, dessert
- After the meal, clean serving and dining room tables, return used serving containers, utensils, etc. to the kitchen.
- Sweep and mop floors in the serving area, dining room, take out kitchen/dining room trash.
- Store or arrange food as directed.

First Fruit Ministries is a non-denominational ministry in southeastern North Carolina dedicated to sheltering the homeless, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, and caring for those in need as outlined in Isaiah 58:6-7.
Description
First Fruit Ministries serves homeless and very-low-income people in the following ways: transitional housing for homeless women and families, daily food box distribution, mobile feeding outreach to homeless encampments, the streets, and under bridges, Thursday Night Street Church services, Adopt-A-Block neighborhood outreaches, and special events such as our annual Pig Pickin'.
